Peter Rößner | CEO
Peter Rößner has been Chief Executive Officer of H2APEX since 2022 and has made it his mission to support the development of the hydrogen market, a field in which he has been active since 2017 — initially as a consultant during H2APEX’s first round of financing and then as CFO from 2019 to 2022.
He brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur and in the finance and banking sectors. He is a member of the board of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Hydrogen Energy Cluster, a member of the National Energy Committee of the German Economic Council, and a member of the Economic Senate of the BVMW.
Bert Althaus | CFO
Bert Althaus is Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at H2APEX. Over the past 10 years, he has played a key role in various leadership positions in guiding the transformation of privately held companies in the digital sector toward the capital markets, and has now turned his attention to renewable energy by joining H2APEX. With his international experience and knowledge of the capital markets, Bert Althaus is the ideal addition to the management team.
Ludger Schlüter | COO
Ludger Schlüter is Chief Operations Officer at H2APEX and brings more than three decades of international experience in large-scale plant and mechanical engineering. In leadership roles at global industrial companies, he has overseen challenging investment and transformation projects and led engineering and project organizations worldwide. His deep technical understanding, strong project management expertise, and experience in establishing efficient structures are taking H2APEX’s operations and engineering capabilities to the next level.
