Research & Development With the ability to store and transport hydrogen, H2APEX has achieved a milestone in the green energy transition. The company continues to invest numerous resources to further expand the H2 application areas and availability.
Chemical storage of hydrogen
H2APEX is researching further, resource-saving options for hydrogen storage. Together with chemists at the LIKAT (Leibnitz Institute for Catalysis), H2APEX is developing a catalytic system that enables chemical storage. This means that systems can store hydrogen from anywhere in the future, similar to the principle of a battery. This is another achievement on the road to a sustainable future and the replacement of fossil fuels.
