Daher ist der Druck auf die Branche entsprechend gro\u00df, die negativen Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt nachhaltig zu reduzieren. Die Aufgabe bestand bei diesem Projekt darin, zuk\u00fcnftig, gr\u00fcnen Wasserstoff direkt vor Ort zur Reduktion von Eisenerz zur Verf\u00fcgung zu stellen.<\/p>\n<h3>L\u00f6sung und Umsetzung<\/h3>\n<p>Mit dem HyBit Projekt ist ein gro\u00dfer Meilenstein in dieser Richtung gelungen. Im Stahlwerk von Arcelor Mittal wird dazu vom konventionellen Hochofen-Prozess auf die innovative Direktreduktion umgestellt. Beim bisherigen Hochofenprozess wird das Eisenerz durch Einsatz von Steinkohlekoks in Eisen umgewandelt, wobei viel CO<sub>2<\/sub> freigesetzt wird. Bei der zuk\u00fcnftigen Direktreduktion ersetzt Wasserstoff den Steinkohlekoks. So wird anstelle von klimasch\u00e4dlichem CO<sub>2<\/sub> nur Wasserdampf als Nebenprodukt freigesetzt.<\/p>\n<p>Aktuell l\u00e4uft das Projekt zur Errichtung einer 10 MW Elektrolyse mit \u00dcbergabestation, Trailerabf\u00fcllung und Noteinspeisung.
